Super Bowl 2006 Products
WattBusters would like to announce that we are carrying two products approved for sale by the NFL for Super Bowl XL. The 40th matchup will be held at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan on February 5, 2006. The $300 million Ford Field, which opened in 2002, is carved into the famous Hudson's warehouse and offers a spectacular view of downtown Detroit through its steel, glass and brick structure. The stadium is located in the city's "Foxtown" entertainment district adjacent to Comerica Park, the home of the Detroit Tigers. The 1.3 million square foot facility has 65,000 seats and 113 luxury suites and promises the best site lines of any NFL stadium.

EPA Announces 1200 Yard Golf Ball
If the EPA tested golf balls, would they whack it off the side of a mountain or along an ice-covered lake, measure the distance, set the average at 1200 yards and then state, "Your yardage may vary"? The testing methodology would clearly be suspect. It happens every day with cars. Have you ever noticed how the EPA's fuel economy 'estimates' differ from your real-world driving mileage? In many cases, they are not even close. Most of the time we don't give a hoot, but when gasoline prices start kicking up over $2/gallon we actually sit up and take notice.
Oh Baby - It's Cold Outside
Oh baby. It's definitely cold outside and snuggle weather is upon us again. Once we get that 'shiver' thing going, it's sometimes
difficult to stop. I guess it's to be expected in the morning when we get
in a cold car (love those vinyl seats) or when we take out the garbage in our
pajamas, but you know it's cold when you need to snuggle just to keep your teeth
from chattering when you go to bed at night. My wife kind of likes me this winter...
Shivering is involuntary muscle tensing that generates heat and offers a warming effect. When you first become slightly chilled, you'll find
yourself doing an isometric type of muscle tensing that can increase your metabolic rate two to four times.

Winter Static - Humidity in Your Home
I don't need a groundhog to tell me that it's still winter. I keep waking up to new blankets of snow and my natural gas bills look like they are for two months instead of one. What's with that? I caulked, sealed the cracks underneath my doors and generally try to keep my thermostat down.
One thing I hadn't given much thought to this season is the lack of humidity in my house. The first giveaway that something wasn't quite right is major static-electricity.
